In Greek, a home above is called "anogion" and it literally means "over [ano] the ground [gion]". We could think of no better name for that type of accommodation, when integrated to our countryside boutique hotel, as it is actually the old name of the building defining its use and tells you that the main entrance of this old traditional Cycladic house is located on the upper road of the village.
The Home Above [Anogion/Anójion] (45 m2) is a spacious, self-catering house, which splits into two levels, the lower level and the loft (upper level). The lower level is devoted to your sitting room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom complete with a shower and all the necessary accessories and toiletries, and a bedroom with a built, double bed. The sitting room and the bedroom give to an outdoor veranda (14 m2) overlooking the village’s traditional neighborhood. On the loft (upper level), there is a two-bed bedroom, with two single beds side by side, which has a small, outdoor veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea, the island of Delos, and the village’s surrounding vistas.
